La erosión dental
El desgaste de esmalte en los dientes a causa de un ataque ácido, cuando este esmalte se desgasta da lugar a dolor y sensibilidad, este desgaste puede transformarse en la pérdida de un diente.
Reducción del flujo salival
El consumo de alcohol en nuestros dientes actúa sobre las glándulas salivales, minimizan su excreción y provocan problemas dentales graves. Al no haber saliva que impermeabilice los dientes y remueva la placa, esta se acumula provocando caries, periodontitis o gingivitis, y es que la saliva funciona como agente limpiador natural de nuestros dientes.
Altos niveles de azúcar
El consumo de alcohol en nuestros dientes contiene altos niveles de azúcar, y es fuente para que las bacterias patógenas se adhieran a nuestra boca. Y si a esto le sumamos la reducción de flujo salival, el alcohol es un gran aliado de las caries dentales. Y es que las bebidas alcohólicas, son unidas generalmente con otras bebidas realmente dulces.
Cáncer oral
